    Also dont forget to check the pin settings on the HDD. Many of the ricohs i have swapped have not used the default settings. If a out of the shop HDD is used. The settings need to be checked, i know i had to help another tech on a AF2075 and due to the hdd brands being different it confused him (nerves due to the customer) and the machine would not start up.

          for future reference, a MP4000 hdd is a 2.5" SATA 40GB drive (fujitsu branded).
