MP6001 with SR4030 finishe and punch, "empty punch container" message does not clear.

The empty punch bucket message will not clear. I have cleaned the sensor and re-seated the connectors on the punch unit board and
the finisher control board. I don't have my infra red sensor to check for the light.
It has worked fine for almost a year
Also I get a message about "cannot punch this size or way" I will have a closer look tomorrow.
Has anyone else had any experience with the punch?

    Thanks

    DR

See if you can check sensor in input mode.

I had to replace the sensor on one.

I probably should've just stayed a little longer, but I was having trouble finding it in the book.
and now I have located the information in the manual for the main frame.
I think I'll have a look for the service manual for the punch. It is type 3260 B702.

        Thanks

Had a tech support call last month on the same prob. It was the HP sensor of the punch unit. It turned out, the seat where the sensor is installed got deformed.
          Aye! Cut the crap
