Ricoh Toner Mp c4503 same as MP c4504?

Hiya, maybe a silly question but I have an upgrade to do from a MP c4503 to a MP c4504, and looked at getting some toners for the 4504 as we don't have in at then moment and I have found that some sites say the toner on the 4503 fits the 4504 also. I have heard that the drums for but is this the case for the toners also as we have loads and save me a lot of extra cost at this point.

Dude look thru other threads where PQ/CQ is the issue....

the under lying culprit A LOT of times is COMPATIBLE toners...

frankly once that has been made known in the thread.. I always bail from discussion....

I am not going to use compatible, always an issue, but Katun on there site say the original works on both models, using original.

Katun has been Not somewhere that I would trust anything...
If the drums and fusers are interchangeable then then toner should work but tricky ricoh might add a tab or other item on the toner tube end so it might need to be popped off.
That was the case wth the mpc2050 to mpc2551..
I have not seen any 04 s yet so i cant say..

The best place to find the answer is the Product Support Guides. They will show the correct toner with EDP code for the different machines.

If you get any newer machines the 4504ex also takes the Type mp c6003 toner. The new IM series color machines use their own toner named the same as the machine.

I READ the question..

the ONLY sites that I found that said you could use one in the other ARE THE 3RD party COMPATIBLE toners...

I for 31+ years have been chasing CRAP 3rd party toner problems. EVEN on CTN other 'older' techs have talked about the "SHIT" compatible toners

Even ricoh doesn't mention using 6XXX in those machine

but your guys can do whateverthefuckyouwant.. I don't give a rats ass..

I read the question too and know mpc6003 toner is the one for the 450 to 6003 but I dont have any mpc4504 or any 04 series so..............The crux of what he wanted to know is will it fit/detect on a 04 series..I didnt need any more info..............go figure
