    Ricoh MP C3001 ocr capability

    Does any one know what part number is for OCR option. I have a customer who wants this option. I know the mpc3003 has an sd card for ocr. They have another ricoh at a different office is a Ricoh and has that feature on it.

          Have you checked the Product Support Guide? The latest release of said should have a complete list of all available options.

          You are aware that OCR scanning will greatly slow down the scan process. Once each page has been scanned it has to be processed for OCR. The GW processors used by Ricoh MFPs and its memory resources are far from ideal for this process. There are software available that can do the processing for you that will be much faster.
