    Horizontal Black lines on Ricoh CL3500.

    Hi guys. A friend of mine is trying to print some photos and he is getting
    horizontal black lines or streaks about 3/16" apart. They become more pronounced in the lower third of the sheet.

    Any ideas?

    (I'm a Konicaminolta tech, I don't know anything about these ricoh M/Cs)

      Sounds like the machine needs a new black PCU. Is it asking for one, or any other consumables?
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          it could also be the charge roller is dirty and needs cleaning which is located on bottom of the pcu, try popping it out and clean it with a wet rag and wipe the roller until no color is on the rag.
          Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
