As of today 4/25/19 there is a new bulletin addressing the "Void on left side" issue. Pretty much what we were suspecting in our shop, but nice to have it confirmed.

Re: New bulletin for SP4520dn
Is this also exactly the same for the MP 402? I have had to clean a few of them and replace PCDUs in the past for this exact thing.
Literally just 2 hours ago I talked a customer through how to carefully clean it with a 'how to guide' and some pictures for voiding on left side.Comment

Yes. They use the same drum, and essentially have the same body.OmertàComment

The Ricoh Australia portal released that first bulletin on the 28th of March this year.
The second bulletin we don't have though so that's something else to try I guess.Comment

Re: New bulletin for SP4520dn
I'm currently in talks with Ricoh partner support on sending back the old versions of this PCU to get the new modified ones as replacements.
I see the latest PN ended 0130 did this number actually change or did it stay as the same part number but just with the 4 digit month and year code having to be 0219 onwards (February 2019) on the box? I would have thought they would change the PN to a slightly different one if it is now modified.Comment

Same issue with the SP3600 printers as well. Any of the models that have the "Drop Down" LED array instead of a laser unit would probably fall under this category.Comment
