ricoh mp w2401 - tiff- dark background

Hello everybody,

My client,civil engineer, owns a Ricoh mp w 2401 and performed an upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10 to his computer. After that when he print from autocad and the site plan includes a tiff image,this image is printed with a dark background.I installed the driver from Ricoh site which is compatible with windows 10 (PS V4 Driver for Universal Print) and the problem solved.But with this driver the maximum printing paper size available is A3+ and not bigger (A0,A1).Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

IMO, you are not supposed to install V4 drivers in a non V4 system architecture.
Use the PS driver instead.

And if you are using a universal driver from ricoh, I would suggest configuring the driver to use the model of your device (can be found under accessories).

Also, make sure you have disabled WSD. Windows 10 will most likely change the settings automatically without the user knowing it.

I agree with keithxxiii. In addition to what he said, any Ricoh Driver for Universal Print is intended for use when pooling different printers.

I am trying to figure out why a driver for a wide format printer would have a limited pager size. All wide formats that I have worked on are designed to use roll fed paper with a cut sheet option. You also should be able to create custom paper sizes in most drivers.

The Ver.7.0.0. PostScript 3 driver for this model has been very stable not requiring any change for over three and a half years.
