SOP PANELS QUESTION

I have seen the mpc401 SOP and the mpc3503 SOP panel but just bought a few mpc4503 SOP used panel.
With FW are they all interchangeable?

You must always use the SOP firmware on a machine that has a smart panel.
Be very careful and make sure not to load NOP firmware if a SOP is installed and vice versa.

No...

The C401 uses the M10 Smart Panel, and the C3503/4503 uses the M3 panel.

True, I think just looking at them should show they are different. From memory the '03 models have a touch screen and the physical buttons are on the right hand side and on the 401 the buttons are below the touch screen I think. They are quite different layouts.

401 is definitely different.

I havent gotten yet but will fiddle around..
I have a mpc401 SOP panel wth touch screen cracked and have yet to find a cheap touch screen option.

the M3 and M10 SOP panels are the same except for the hinge design.
I had a bad M10"sc 672 code" and took the metal frame that connects the panel to the mounting hinge.
I have a 2nd M10 SOP that I might try to duplicate the mounting metal frame or just use in on a mpc3003 to mpc4503 .
The panel does come up on a NOP panel machine but limited screen
