    Ricoh mp c5503

    riicoh paper tray not changing with different size paper?
    for example its loaded with 8.5x11 but it stays on 12x18
    I've tried to refresh it and restarted as well

    Is it set manually in user tools instead of set for auto detect?

      Also the obvious, did you move the end fence and side fences into the correct position?

          You have either a tray width sensor or tray set sensor or both. The set sensor is a multi position micro switch that determines whether or not the tray is installed and also reads the position on the cam on the bottom of the tray that is controlled by the position of the end fence,. This checks the length of the paper in the tray.

            in the service mode check 5181 and 5131..
