Ricoh 2060 image shift

Help required, ricoh 2060. most use of the machine is booklet making. when the machine stops for paper refil or to clear paper jam on restart the image drops approx 25mill, and have to reset origanals and start job again.
Ricoh are sending tech spec but i would like to beat them to it.
anyone had this before and what is the answer,
I have installed the latest firmware and made no difference

can you post an example of the problem or explain in a little more detail please

Sounds like laser, check the harness from the LD to the IPU. I had something similar and just moved the harness away from other cables.
The other thing is memory.

You mention booklet making in your description - do you think this is related?

Will try moving harness on our next visit.
Difficult to explain in more detail and difficult to trace fault as it is not happening all the time. will keep you updated and please forward any other suggestions. customer only had machine 3 months so upgrading is not an option
