Ricoh MPC305SPF prints but wont scan to email ...

    Hello !
Today I installed a used MPC305SPF used in good condition , instaled the same way I usually do in other models but the machine wont scan to email...
GATEWAY and DNS correct , it connects to smtp server SUCCESSIVELY but no scan ...
I used a new ETHERNET cable by the way ... I instaled the printer and it works , can configure the machine via browser too but still no scan...
One think I noticed was the LAN PORT of MFP one light its bright and the another its very light cannot see very well ... Usually in LAN PORTs one its stead and another one flashes ...
Didnt tried to scan to Path or Ping another network devices ...

Connection to smtp is no guarantee for successful scan. Almost a million things can go wrong, check the log.
Please start you post with brand, model, problem.

Installed the same way you usually do? What does that even mean?
I set up machines in a variety of configurations depending on the environment, etc.
Scan to email can be quirky (for lack of better term), and there is no "universal" configuration
Bottom line. You're not doing something correctly based on the network it's connected to. Period.
And there are dozens, if not hundreds of threads discussing it

What kind of error or message do you get when you try to scan to email?
What email server are you using? Could it have anything to do with Auth issues

Tomorrow will update firmware and try to scan one more than 1 page because I saw this:

            Version 02.02
            Symptom corrected:
Scan to E-mail might fail even if the email size is 44,300 KB or less when the following
            conditions are met:
            - The HDD is not installed.
            - "Scanner Features" > "Send Settings" > "Max. E-mail Size" is set to "On", and the size
is set to 44,301 KB or more.
This firmware is dependent on the following firmware modules. Please be sure to update
            all of them:
            - System/Copy firmware v4.03(D1175421T) or later
            - WebUapl firmware v1.09(D1175428F) or later

Normally for the 2 LEDs, one shows connection/speed and the other data flow. I have seen the data LED appear to be dim when it is flashing very flash because of jabber on the network switch it is connected to.

Are you able to print to or connect WIM? If no, try connecting your laptop directly to the C305.
