[Misc] Paper size mismatch error received by one user

Recently installed a new Lanier MP C407 for a customer. One user (in an office of 6) is having problems printing from WordPerfect 12. She receives a paper size mismatch error. She is able to physically go to the printer and select the size and the page will then print but this is not convenient as her desk is not near the printer. All of the other users, also using WordPerfect 12, are able to print without issue. I am assuming that this has to be a setting within this particular user's WP program but I am unable to find a difference in the settings between her program and the other users. I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this and, if so, how they rectified this issue. Thank you for any help you can give.

Problem user has Win 10 64bit

Thank you for responding. I have checked the
paper size setting. Format - Page settings and they appear to be identical to the other users. Is there any specific setting that I should look for?

What exactly is the message on the printer when this happens? Another thing it could be is she is trying to print tray 2 specifically but tray 1 actually has the correct paper. Could try going into User Tools/Counter, Printer features, System tab. I believe second option down on the left is something about "Error". Change it to "Immediate". This should then allow into automatically print to the nearest size possible.

The message that I have seen in the past has been "Paper Size/Type Mismatch." What I would find was between the MFP and the computer one would be set for plain paper and the other for bond paper. There is a setting in Printer Features where you can set it to use Program/Command for each paper tray instead of Machine Setting. Bypass used to default to it but not the trays.

As others have said, the paper mismatch tells you what is wrong, view the ops panel from the web interface while the error is present and you can spell it out for them.

Thank you all for your advice. I will, time permitting, be on site with this client later and hopefully get this fixed. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all the help.

Re: Paper size mismatch error received by one user

Coincidentally, I had this exact issue just a few weeks ago with the only customer that I know of who uses Word Perfect.
Doing some research in advance, I figured that it would be a 'format' setting too, but it wasn't.
It was a paper size mismatch error, and the machine would only print from the bypass tray, when manually selected, and was ONLY an issue with word perfect. All other programs worked perfectly. Even manually selecting Tray 1 within the printer properties didn't work.
It ended up being something to do with the driver and the Word Perfect program. I fixed it by simply installing a different driver.
I think I went from PCL6 to PCL5 (or vice versa).
                      It's worked "perfectly" ever since

Edit: If you're using the Universal PCL driver. Don't

Have also been seeing a lot of the V4 Uni. Drivers and Ricoh Class Drivers. Junk drivers in my opinion. Can't beat the good old PCL5/6 drivers.
Any time just one person in the office is having an issue, it's usually them choosing wrong settings, or 9 times out of 10 a driver issue.

Re: Paper size mismatch error received by one user

depending on the size that she uses in the driver the help is given

this I do in this situation for example

                          IN THE DRIVER

                          size of the document:
                          A4

                          print on:

                          letter

                          That helps me

I even created a driver for those types and sizes of paper
I call it for example LETTER OR OFFICE, according to the case because of the laziness that it gives them in configuring the sizes well.
