    Ricoh MP C300 SC540

    I have the service manual.

The fuser and exit rollers are turning fine.
Anyone had a problem with the BCU on this model?
I'm planning to go back and run 5804 fusing motor, if you have any experience on this specific model with this SC540 please update me.
    Thanks

this problem has been covered in CTN in several different posts...

most say to rebuild fuser and replace fuser drive motor

that is an SC code that has been in EVERY Ricoh model since I started working on them .. just because it isn't MODEL specific don't mean anything.. I even did a google search ..6 threads here and several other sites have the SAME fix

do you not have the service manual? I wouldn't sugeest diving into it until you do have it .

Kind of surprised, I unplug it yesterday, and today when I got there and plug it in it is working fine.
I have the manual and I run 5810 yesterday.
          Thanks for your input.

Learn how to read the service manual. It does not say that the motor is not turning,it says that the BCU does not receive the lock signal 2 seconds after turning on the fusing/paper exit motor.

Did you find a resolution or what happened? Just had a call come in for this and will be heading in Monday to have a look.

              Thanks
