Preset Stamps on 4501

Technician replaced hard drive on Lanier C4501.

Now the preset stamps are greyed out.

Any idea on how to fix this?


Someone on a similar post suggested to execute SP853 and reboot, but no idea what that means.

583 is stamp download you have to go into service mode

do not give him the process to get into SM...

he will brick the machine and then blame you...

Stamp re-download was under group 5 so service mode: 5583

call the tech who replace hard drive and tell him he needs to come and fix problem. he might tell you how to do it but that's up to him and his company. When he replace the hard drive there is a procedure that tells you all the things that you need to do afterwards. i know that is one of the steps.
