    MPC5503 Print in Red Colour

    Hi.
Im been having some issue of printing red colour in MPC5503.
it print more lighter and more like orange colour.

When i using MPC4501. The colour come out as Red colour.

Im using new PCU Magenta ori with ori toner but result still the same.

Is it any image density can be adjust in SP mode? Maybe Dev Bias?.

    Appreciate with all the advice.
    Thank you~

It helps if you post an example. Did you do ACC?

      +1 on ACC.
Could also check to make sure harness is fully seated (though I would think this would give you a PCDU not set message).
Did you re-install the rear cover with contact on the rear of the Magenta PCDU?
Could do a Printer memory clear (SP 5-801-008), and then run ACC for printer.
A sample would be nice to see. One picture of the red showing as orange, and an ACC picture, would help a little.

We have had the printer driver cause a similar issue, when the customer compared the colours between two machines. In the end we installed the older model driver on the newer model's print queue, as there were no options installed it worked fine.

I had a customer with this exact model become dissatisfied with his magenta color a while back. I simply cleaned the ID sensors and ran ACC. I was actually amazed at the difference in CQ. It brought it back to the color he was previously getting.
