Ricoh MP 2550B add printer/scanner function

I have a Ricoh MP 2550B without printer/scanner function, which I want to add.
Regarding this, I have two questions:
1. Is an HDD absolutely necessary or is the memory module sufficient?
2. I have identified the printer/scanner module (Ricoh Printer/Scanner Unit Type 3350 | eBay) and the memory module (1X Free Shipping RAM 512M for Ricoh Aficio MP4000 MP5000 MP4001 MP5001 MP2550 MP3350 MP2851 MP3351-in Printer Parts from Computer & Office on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group). Are these the correct ones needed?

The HDD is absolutely necessary. Print jobs are stored on it during spooling. I would recommend ordering from RecycledParts as they guarantee their items. Unfortunately, recycledparts does not ship to europe, so I have to find another supplier.
Do you think this controller board (RICOH D3625180B AFICIO SPC420DN HARD DRIVE HDD CONTROLLER BOARD | eBay) will work with my printer? According to the parts catalogue, the PCB number of the required controller is 'D362 5170', however, on the picture in ebay the PCB has the number 'D362 5180B'. They look fairly similar, but I don't want to order wrong parts.
