Hi, All. I hope everyone is having a great day. I am unfamiliar with the indication shown below. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it? Oh, and a full memory clear is not an option. Machine is a MP 6503.

Re: 6503 error
It appears to be an OS system message. The .pri I believe indicates printer application. It might be an error trying to write to print memory or to the HDD. You could try formatting the HDD, clearing the Printer application memory (SP 5801-008) or Initialize Printer System Printer SP 1003-001.
If you have any special apps install it may have to do with them. -

Re: 6503 error
Ok, spoke too soon. It came back on a reboot. I have found 49 extra programs installed on this machine, most of which I have NO IDEA what they are. The security level is at custom level, and it says I do not have privilege to access. Administrator authentication is off. I would like to uninstall "device manager nx enterprise", which seems causing the problem. OR, how do I access that program from my pc? IT people have infiltrated themselves into this machine in a big way before my grubby paws got into it. Too bad I just can't set the SOP back to factory default. (that I know of).NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

Re: 6503 error
I think someone refueled the machine with profiles/configs from slnx (dmnx is integrated in slnx v3). So the machine would like to talk to the server. You have to find and talk to the tech who did that first.Comment

Re: 6503 error
Got it! I went ahead and checked the logs in the WIM, and I set all to inactive except for the job logs. It has been 20 minutes now with no system message, so I believe it is fixed. Special thanks to all who suggested checking the job logs, again delving into something I haven't messed with before. Life is good, everyone have a great weekend! BTW, I did get into SOP recovery mode and reset user data to factory settings. It didn't help, but I now know how to do it. Now my face doesn't look like this cat >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
