    Ricoh MP 7001 overtoning

Hey guys i have a client he has a MP 7001 so i replaced him a new drum - developer - transfer belt etc and the developer had an overtoning in the next 60.000 copies that caused to the drum to filled with toner, replaced again developer and still in the next 70.000 copies he has the same problem.
Does anyone have any idea all parts and toner in the machine are original.

    Hello!
    Is the toner OEM?
Did you make the TD Sensor Initial Setting?
What are the readings of SP2220 and SP2223?

For a quick test, do you have another development unit to try?
The drum unit is dirty just with toner or is there developer too?
Did you disassemble the development unit when replacing developer?
Check the charge corona, or try with another.
        Is SP2208 "0"?

You may have a toner hazing problem not an over toning problem. Check that the development filter is properly installed and the filter plate is on top of the filter. Also check the condition of the seals on the development as if they are excessively worn, the development unit will blow toner directly onto the PCU frame.

Considering the age of the model you could also have worn bushings on the development unit.

Make sure your filters are clean. Clogged filters raise the temperature inside the machine resulting in a overtoned condition.

There is no developer in the drum unit only toner I must say that if you turn the development knob the developer unit throw toner dust. The strange thing is that the machine prints fade, if you consider the toner amount in the development unit.

I have remove all the filters from the machine just to be sure before I changed the developer.

I was thinking about the developer unit because before I changed it I cleaned the magnetic with metal brush, the magnetic was very dirty, and had a brown coat, after 60.000 copies there was again the same thing!!!!

If you opens the right side panel and make an "forced toner supply"..... You can hear the clutch making "click" noises..... And you can see the movement from the right side..... The problem is that often during the work the clutch remains "on"..... This was my case in the Mp6001...... If you have another machine or an Mp7500 (same part number) you can try to change it.

Open the door, put an actuator, open the toner hopper to the right and look into the entrance of the toner supply unit. If the transport screw spins at all times, it means that the clutch is activated.

If you try another development unit you would find out faster where to check afterwards
