So, printing is no problem, but with using copy or scanning function the machine does not respond to your manipulations?
Normaly this machine should "get awake" when lifting the ADF ass'y or placing originals in the ADF.
Machien does not respond to those manipulations?

Thats correct. The machine does not respond, only get awake if i send a printer job or turn the principal switch off (if i turn switch off, the machine wake up and start the 3 minutes to turn off)....

You may need to update the firmware. Use module firmware not package. More often than not, the newest package will only have those modules released since the previous package. Also it will not replace any module that is at the same level as in the package as it has no way to detect corrupted modules.

Thank you, it helps, the solution has been to take the controller board and use contact cleaner with ram. All problem have been fixed

I've use a 1gb SD (Panasonic format, etc.) romdata with it all and try to update one by one. It almost instantly says Update Done, so I assume it's done nothing since it is the same version. I've read a bunch of guys do the same as me and get the same result, but where is the mistake? It's per SM

That sounds about right if you are only selecting one module.

So am I correct that in fact it is not re-writing the data, just informing that the "update was done" basically? It seems too fast to be doing anything.

I'm thinking of this in terms of troubleshooting potentially corrupted firmware (major power issues). Is doing the traditional module method with the same (already most recent) firmware actually re-programing the data or doing nothing?

Install the update tool and let it do its thing.
