Hiya,
first off all thank you for all the help in here, I've been here as a silent reader every so often and I hope I can help out with some posts as well. I'm out in the field doing mostly ricoh machines when it comes to the larger machines.
A client has asked me something I however couldn't "fix" right away. It's about starting a new copy job while the previous one is still printing out.
I replaced an 3053 with an 4055ASP. They start a copy with let's say 150 pages. The SPDF is scanning those pages really fast. When the scanning part is done and it's still getting printed out they want to start a new copy job right away with another let's say 100 pages. This doesn't work as the screen is kinda "locked" with the current copy job with no option to start a new one until the current one is finished.
I never really stumpled upon this problem but that company really needs this to work. It did work with the 3053 and a C2003 test machine here.
I've spoken to ricoh tech and it was pointing a little into the direction of stacking/sadf, but I'm not really sure if this is the right way to go?
Do you have any idea if that's even possible and if yes, how?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Trommel
