Savin C4503 - Blank page when pdf is set to "fit"

Has anyone had or seen an issue where the C4503 prints a blank sheet, or missing text when scaling a large document to 8 1/2" x 11" using a PCL6 driver, but works just fine when using a PCL5 driver? is there any way to fix this? firmware and software drivers are both updated.

      Hi Adween,

Appreciate the response. The driver we are currently using is "
      PCL6 Driver for Universal Print"
      Ver.4.25.0.0 Released Date: 12/20/2019.
This is giving us incomplete printouts when trying to just fit to letter size. Although the old PCL5 works, and still works for printing it. Is there an option I may be missing?

Don't use the universal driver, just the regular PCL6. The cross-platform UPD lacks some features of the standard PCL6.

Just tried the regular PCL6 and same result, no image. The PCL6 on the website hasn't been updated in 3 years, what exactly is the downfall of just using the PCL5?

I use a PCL5 driver on our C4500 here in the shop, and have not had any issues with it. If it works for what they're trying to print, then I would just stick with that.
Pcl5 is just the "older language" (ASCII code - less compact), and the PCL6 is "newer" in that it compiles the info. into binary format (more compact), and then sends the package to the printer. PCL6 might also have a few more functions than the previous version, but as I said, if the pcl5 is suiting their needs, I would just use it.

Just for shits and giggles, using the PCL6 driver, when you hit print and it brings up the print box, click on "Advanced" next to the Printer name, and in that window check the box for "Print as Image", and try it. Has worked in the past for weird issues like this.
Also, make sure you're not printing from Edge or Operah. For whatever reason I have No to Very Limited success printing from those browsers.

The reason Ricoh and other manufacturers still provide PCL 5 drivers is that some programs just do not play nice with PCL 6.

As for the 'universal driver" there is one and only one reason for using a universal driver, cross platform compatibility between different manufacturers and models when used as pooled printers. All printers in a pool must use the same driver.

Could also just be whatever PDF program the poster is using - specifically 'Adobe Air' has given me issues in the past
I'm no expert, but I've had a couple of instances where customers complained that PDF documents wouldn't print. I tried multiple driver options with no success. Installing a different program resolved the issue.
And, as has already been suggested, if the PCL5 works, who the hell cares? You have your solution. It's not a perfect world.
