[Misc] Ricoh adding characters to card number

    Hello

I am having problems with a RICOH 3003.

We use a Universal DMZ RFID card reader for face-to-face release. We happen to have hundreds of users already registered with the host system with other printer models (brother and samsung).

This ricoh model 3003 is adding two characters to the card number.

The correct card number is 10004DE749 and the number Ricoh recognizes is 10004ADAE749, that is, adding two A characters.

    10004DE749
    10004ADAE749

Anyone have any idea why Ricoh is adding these two characters?

I doubt this can be resolved from the Ricoh side.

Did you check with the vendor of the card reader?

A lot of times they have a utility to create a profile which you download to the reader.
