    Hi guys,
Have any of you ever used ipp printing and if so why? I have never used it and was wondering what scenario would you use it in?

    Thanks/.

You can use it to print on a remote printer (on a different network). I haven't got much expirience with it. At this moment I have only one customer who uses it. Italian office prints to an SP8100DN in the Rotterdam office (Netherlands).

I knew it was for remote printing and was wondering if its easy to set up? i.e. routers have to be set up to forward to another network and so forth.

On the printer side it is not very difficult to set up, but you also need the help from the IT-guys.
