    C3002 locked

Let me start by saying that I am not a copier technician but was a telecommunication technician/specialist/whatever for 42 years, so I can find my way around most electronics. But in this particular case I am asking for help 'cos I'm stumped!
My wife's church was given a Ricoh C3002 some time ago and it's worked fine. When they changed to the NBN I was asked to change over their network and get everything working, which I did. Recently they said that they couldn't send scanned emails, could I have a look. I eventually found that the ISP had changed their security protocols and required the copier to use SSL. Worked out that the copier need a certificate installed, so initiated this via the WIM - and that's where it stopped! After much research I found that the Network Security Level had been set to Custom, which appears to be the problem. This apparently locks out the HTTP, so it can't be accessed by WIM, can't be pinged nor accessible by telnet. The login button on the console simply beeps twice when pushed and doesn't do anything. Tried a factory reset using the console buttons and that doesn't work either! When I try to change the Network Security Level it says I'm not authorised but there's no way of entering a password.

I can access it via SP and have been reading the Service Manual (all 1900 pages!!), looking for the reset code(s), but there's nothing obvious and I know enough to not start entering codes will-nilly. I was hoping to find a code to reset the Network Security Level to 1 but can't find anything. Or an obvious factory reset, which I assume should reset the Security Level to 1.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here, please? All I want to do is clear this thing so it will at least work as a copier/printer so that I can go back to being gainfully retired (if they want to scan/send emails I'll suggest they buy a small stand-alone device rather than mess around with this).
    Cheers,
    Richard.
