Since you included the finisher type in the post title, I have to ask. Have you disconnected the finisher and tried printing without it? If all is good, then you may have to adjust the angle of the finisher entrance guide. They get bent easily and will cause misfeeds.

Yes I ran a fresh ream of paper, however I will go back with a different brand and see if it makes a difference.

The only tray that gives any trouble is the first tray which is letter long edge feed only. I ran it without the bridge and finisher with a small amount of wrinkling but no tear in the paper edge.

Yes all OEM parts have been replaced. It's just uncommon maybe two or three out of a ream will be damaged.

If only happens on tray one would of been good to see some samples but could be feed rollers and limiter

You bend it up or down until the paper is feeding in without issue. It's just pot metal.

You could also try loading long edge first in another tray and see what happens. Process of elimination.

Long edge first in another tray works without issue. All feed pulleys for that cassette have been replaced.

Is there a lot of paper curl once the paper exits?

                              Very little curl if any.
