    scan to e-mai (gmail), MP2501,sp3600sf

    I'm trying to make scan to e-mail using smtp server from gmail,but there is no feature as in mp c printers called(Use secure connection (SSL) ) i have tried to enable it from Security category but no results,

    any suggestion?

    There is "use secure connection" on the machines, but it may not be available in the WIM. The older units it was only available in user tools (under smtp server)
    In order to setup scanning using Gmail requires one of 2 settings be made in the google account :
    Either enabling "allow less secure apps", or turning on 2-step verification and then creating an "app Password" for the machine

      The models mentioned may not support TLS. Standard gmail SMTP server requires support for TLS. You may find the following link helpful.

        For those model that didn't support SSL, there is a software call email relay.
