    Re: 1106

J069 is a relay sensor lag jam. Most likely a dirty or bad sensor. Could also be paper that is slightly too long.

If you are going to have even the slightest chance of successfully repairing a piece of equipment like this, you need a service manual.

It is the upper relay sensor, not the double feed sensor, not the registration sensor.

If you have SM just follow troubleshooting for this code. Use find to search for unfamiliar parts, sensors, etc. Start with easiest tests/checks not with motors(maybe last).

Service Manual - Replacements and Adjustments - Paper Feed - 3.10.17 LCT RELAY AND RELAY SENSORS shows a very clear picture of the sensor and its mount bracket.

Upper relay sensor is for trays 1, 2 and 3.

hi j069 in ricoh 1106 means UPPER RELAY SENSOR LAG
                          1. check your machines relay and registration sensor
2.check your machines relay and registration gears and timing belt from back side the machine
3.change registration motor on your machine
I'm 16 years Technician and very time I see this problem
Rest assured, it's none other than that
