    RICOH AFICIO MP-2000L not printing

    Hello,
    Sorry for my poor english.
I have a problem with MP-2000L printer - it doesn't work on any port - i Tried USB and LAN. I tried every driver I could get from ricoh site - pcl6, pcl5e... When I try to print something there is no information, no error but it doesn't print... Maybe you could help me to analyse where the problem is?
I should add that the printer is almost new and it wasn't ever well configured - it didn't print yet.
    Thanks in advance.

    MP 2000 L

I got problem like you with Gestetner MP 2000 Le, As i know in standard machine MP 2000 Le can be conected with USB for Printing and Scanning, But if u Add Optional Board u can connect with PC via Network Card. What I do when i got ur problem

    1. Download Newest Driver Version on Gestetner Sites, I Prefer used DDST Printer Driver for Windows Xp SP2 (Gestetner - Central Support Services)
    2. Channge the Machine Model Name with SP Mode 5 (plug and Play model)
    3. Conenct the USB Cable (Confirm that ur cable is USB 2.0)
    4. Turn on Ur Computer
    5. Turn On ur machine
6 Install DDST Printer driver at ur pc and change port to usb
    7. Test ur print Pages

If u still get problem, try to install ur DDSTPrinter Driver to other PC.

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

with all the new ones that find the paper size automatically this was a first for me!
