Question on Fax option for Aficio 2035e

I'm pretty sure of answer but since these are a few generations back.... Does having the scan/print option automatically make the fax option capable of internet, fax to email, lan fax etc on the Aficio 2035e? We are thinking of adding a fax option to a 2035e, for rental. Thx, Kevin

Not sure about fax to email, but lan fax is a yes (with driver of course).

I know the "E" was the first to use SMB all around, but still wouldn't surprise me if it did most of what the newer ones do (as far as fax end goes). I'm not sure much effort is being put into fax tech anymore.

Thanks for the reply, I don't want to install the fax option until i am sure of the fax to email perk.

Yep, scan to email, smb. LDAP, the whole ball of wax.
The previous model, the 2035, would not do smb nor did it have LDAP capabilities altho it would scan to email.

My bad, Jomama. He said "fax to email". Didn't dawn on me that meant scan to email (same thing). DOH!

Musta been reformatting my hard drive, when I answered that one. (Prolly too many beers, LOL!)
