Is there anyway to check if the Toner Density sensor is bad or not?, and can it be the cause of overtoning?
Thank you for your help, any help appreciated.
The only way that I am sure of is to replace it. Now the toner sensor in the neck of the hopper is a pressure sensor and you can squeeze it and make it work but a regular TD sensor all I know is replace it.

Try to see from the input (i think its on the mode program),the signal if its 0 or 1 but you have to see to the service manual for the exact number that TD sensor is!
