I have seen this problem many times. Almost aways corrected by performing a PCU rebuild.Comment

I agree with the PCU. New drum, charge roller, blade and cleaning roller (possibly pad, can't remember) required.
The drums on these buggers rarely last beyond 150k, especially with the 2nd cleaning blade in place. I know your model doesn't have it, but the later Adonis / Alex will work a hell of a lot better with it removed.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
