Ricoh IM C3000 jump drive printing

The manual says that an XPS file can be printed from this machine, but when the jump drive is plugged into the port on the smart panel, the file does not show up. JPG, PDF, and TIFF files will. Any suggestions? Have updated the firmware and even created my own file aside from the clients. No luck.

Have you tried different USB thumb drives? If no this particular one may be corrupted.
Worst case scenario machine may need to be initialized.

At first I thought the same but not knowing Ricoh product line led me to search for a manual and it's in user manual where is stated that print from USB thumb drive support XPS format, no asterisks or option mentioned so I' m under impression this is standard function and should work out of the box.
Of course I might be wrong cuz user documents are not service documents

Without confirming with Ricoh I believe this is the option needed, XPS Direct Print Option Type M37

Its a SD card style option. I can find no
documentation yet on it but its listed as a "New" option to the IMC series.

              Google Google..
XPS Direct Print Option Type M37418405
Function to print XPS directly from USB/PC, without using driver. XPS is a new XML based document format developed by Microsoft, which is similar format with PDF.
