Can you ping the machine? Might be the NIC is disabled. Also, do not install the machine as a web services device (WSD is very glitchy). It might be old, but you should still be able to print to it. Scanning, maybe not so much.

Network printing or USB? If network, the NIB may have come loose from the controller. For either it could be turned OFF in SP mode.

Are you setting up over a network or are you using USB?

        If connected to the network:
Set an IP address in the copier.
Search that IP address in the "Add Printer" window on your computer.
"Ricoh Universal Print driver" should work. Should be one of the options to choose in the list for manufacturers/drivers.
Otherwise go to ricoh.com and just download the Universal Driver from there. I don't believe they offer a Model-Specific driver for this model anymore.

As usual Gab provides the absolute minimum of information as to what is actually happening.
Know this Gab: If you can't find a specific windows 10 driver for the machine, and I expect that you won't, then any Ricoh PCL5 driver will run that machine (Ie: AF2027/ MP3500/ MP4000, or newer models), and pretty much any other model too, as long as you have it setup correctly. And Windows 7 drivers are the same as Windows 10
If you do, and it still doesn't print, Then it's game over.
          The end.

I would not use the Universal Print Driver. The MP 4000 PCL6 driver should work.

👍Absolutely spot on about Gab's part.
Probably and likely spot on of other part but you know I'm not Ricoh guy. Just average dude on anything except KM and Brother brands.

Do you mean you can't connect for printing or for scan to folder?
Coz if it's the latter you can't get firmware anymore so it'll never scan...you'd have to FTP that.
Maybe try an MP2500 driver...you can still find those on the official Ricoh public site.

Yes. But it is not a SD card. It is a DIMM that mounts on the controller.
