MP4000 toner consumption status reset

Hi friends, today i change new toner bottle in MP 4000 machine after that i check configuration page but still there showing the old satuts so how to reset the toner consumption status bar in MP 4000/5000/4002/5002.If anyone knows please teach me friends...

Did it say it needed new toner? Take it out, run until it asks for new toner then put it in and check.

NO. The bar is meaningless. There is no ID chip on the bottle to store toner level. There are only two times that the machine know how much toner is in the bottle. When the bottle is empty, the machine calls for toner and the output from the TD sensor does not change. The other is immediately after the bottle is replaced. Everything is pure guess work. The machine assumes that a set amount of toner is added each time which may not be the case.

There no chip in the mp4000 Mono range probably old centre cap still in hopper
