Did you also replace the rest of the rollers in the fuser? If you're in there you may as well.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

What are the Part Numbers for the Belt and Hot Roller you replaced?

There's a bulletin about the "Heat Roller Assembly" where the flanges slip inside the metal sleeve and those swell up and touch the belt causing it to be torn.
New roller Part Number is D1364450, i would check and Replace this roller.

Yes all rollers should be replaced at the same time. A must is the red sponge roller

Oh yes. If you've got reason to dig into one of these fusers, rebuild it completely, new bearings, the works.

Also...there are two shoulder screws either side of the fuser that hold the belt unit in.
If you mistakenly use NON shouldered screws when you rebuild it...you'll shred the belt eventually.
It puts too much pressure on the frame and runs the belt off to one side.
Found that out the hard way
