    Fusing oil almost empty

    Hi,
I know the Ricohs but never worked on an aficio 2232c. The "fusing oil almost empty"/"call for service" is flashing.

I replaced the oil cartridge with original ricoh product ($85.00 grrrrr...) but that did not help.

Looked in the SC codes but resetting the PM did not help either.

There is a fuse in the oil units that blows when a new one is put in. Check the fuse for continuity. If it's not blown, check the contacts in the machine for oil residue (clean) and bend them down a bit towards the fuser.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

Got to agree with Cobiray, check the contacts for oil residue and bend them down slightly to get better contact.
Barring that, try replacing the fuser unit itself.
