ricoh aficio 3030 showing sc 144 sometimes when power on

    [Error Code] ricoh aficio 3030 showing sc 144 sometimes when power on

    Ricoh aficio 3030 showing sc 144 when powering on, or at times showing restart mode,
    After restart mode then the machine goes to ready state.
    I have reseat the sbu board and also replaced a new sbu board but the system remain the same.
    Anyone have resolve this issues before or any setting tankso be done to these machines

      did you go into Service mode and reset the code?

      did you have an electrical problem?

      how many pages on the supplies/PM parts?

      do you have a surge protector on the copier? what brand?

      any other error codes popping up?

      so many questions so little time.....

          The SBU is not field replaceable. It is the board factory soldered to the back of the lens. You have to replace the entire lens assembly. It may also be the IPU board or the cable between them. Considering the age of the 3030, unless you have a parts machine, you have a boat anchor.

              I have reset it in sp 5810 mode. But occasionally this code still appear and sometimes the copier goes into restart mode again. After restart the copier is able to work again. I have replaced a new controller board for this machine because it shows sc 672 code. Previously before that I did not encounter this issues. Thx
