    [Misc] IMC300 build book

Hi IM C300 has different menus to retro devices and was wondering it there is a SP code to turn back new menus to the original type menu layout likes of IMC3000. Though search facility on IM C300 is pretty cool.

Think you're looking for the classic interface, swipe left/right on homescreen it's possible they're just on a different homepage. If they aren't there you can just add them again from apps menu

I think he is referring to the Settings (old User Tools) Menu. It is VERY different from the old User Tools screens. I find it much more cumbersome to use (as I do the newer User Interface for the main feature functions,) Unfortunately, I have found no alternative to it as of yet.

I just encountered one last week and I agree the "user tools" menu is very different. I eventually found what I was looking for but it is very cumbersome for an experienced tech. For the casual user it might be more logically laid out but I don't like it. It's like anything else I will get used to it.

Hello C300. In the future at least try to think about how what you type might be read to mean something different.

You have to have Machine Administrator turned on.
Login as Administrator...and you'll then find the setting to change back to the Classic Menu in Administrator settings.

Thanks for all the replies been building quite a few of these models now to incorporate Equitrac, you do get used to them eventually, the longest menu to find initially was the keyboard alteration from qwert to English(uk)pc, but as said once you have done a few.........the new norm I suspect.

I'll try and take a pic of the screen next time I'm in front of one
It's in the latest version of the Ricoh RUG Ver 9.
The setting shows you how to switch it to the new menu type but the procedure to set it to the classic menu is there.
