- Turn the main power switch off/on. • Go into the SP mode. Do SP7901 to display details about SC992 (software file name, line number, and variable)
EDIT: Just realized I misread the model number, this is for the W2400, but I just checked service manual for the 240W and it lists pretty much the same solution:
Set the main power switch to off then to on.• Go into the SP mode.• Input 0 for SP7405 to displaythe data for SC992, whichincludes the software file name,line number, and variable.
Disconnect the cable for the Plot Base unit and reboot. If the problem goes away you may have a bad cable that connects to the plotter. If the problem is still there after you disconnect the cable then try to reload the all firmware modules. If that does not work then replace the IPU board.
