MP161 - removing DF, installing platen cover

Hi there,

I have a little problem with a MP161 wich I need to "downgrade" with a platen cover. Sounds like an easy task but unfortunately you can't install the platen cover because it doesn't came with the complete hinge parts.

These parts needs to be removed if you want to install the DF (see SM - DF installation to understand wich parts I exactly have in mind). I know that we have installed some DF's in the past but nobody has kept these fucking parts for the case you have to undo this

Now I've checked the parts guide of the machine but all I can find is the different left scale (without exposure glass) - but no sign of these hinge parts at all.

Am I blind or do I need to send a report to ricoh?

I've checked the bulletins too but I probably overlooked it.

Now I can find it, it's, called "Aficio MP 161/161L/161LN - 010 Shaft: Pressure Plate" - I havent associate "pressure plate" with "platen cover"

If you download the latest Parts for the mainframe machine it's in there too under Exterior.

At least I've tried that but all I got was still the "first edition" of that PC - so called at the first page. Seems Ricoh Germany did not a great job in maintaining the database but at least they have added the bulletin so finally I could have found the necessary information.
