hello friends, Copier was right I just cleaned it,when I finished it,I turned it on and the display said sc322.00 I saw the service manual and it means laser unit problem, I cleaned it and check the flat cable,conectors ,etc,What should I do to solve this problem ,Today I couldn't sleep fine.

So the copier was working before you cleaned it? If this is the case, retrace every step you made while cleaning and every connector you came close to while reassembling. How far did you take it apart? Chances are you have a missed a connector while putting it back together. Hopefully you had the power off while cleaning and you didn't damage anything.

If you took the laser unit out the attached bulletin may cure your problem. You should also check your front door switches as the Laser power goes through them.

You may have just gotten unlucky and it was a coincidence, but I have found 90% of the time if the machine works before I service it and does not after the service...it's something I have done.

Good Luck and don't lose anymore sleep over it...I think we have all done this at least once. It's a technician's worst nightmare.

I cannot add anything more to what KopyKat suggested, except that step 9 in the bulletin he provided is very important to do anytime you remove and re-install the laser unit, and might need to be all you need to do. However, I have used the technique in the bulletin many times with success.

Service Code 322

I have faced this problem many times. It is due to toner entering the LDDR unit. Just take out the LDDR from the laser unit , Remove the two white stickers - you would find tiny openings behind them. Clean this unit with a blower. Put the stickers back and refix it. Remember to cover the openings fully otherwise toner would enter it.

Perform the 400 and 600 dpi pitch angle adjustments, SP2109. Sometimes this will take care of the problem.

When I first read that bulletin a few years back, I was doubtful at first but it made a believer out of me. Used that fix many many times.
