    [Misc] Ricoh Mp c6502

    hi, i had this issue in my machine, the magenta color always print orange, i feed several times toner to the developer unit and works a little bit, i changed the developer unit with other thats works fine in other machine and prints orange, change the feed motor developer and still orange, i want to saturate the magenta levels but i cant find the option in Sp menu, can anyone help me where can i found it...

    Did you done colour calibration...

      yeah, several times but dont work, in fact the print sample copy its ok the magenta prints ok

        Sounds to me like the yellow PCDU has been throwing toner and contaminated the magenta developer. I suggest replacing the magenta developer and apply all bulletins dealing with toner scattering to all PCDU.

          Clean the ID sensors and then run ACC.

            how can i run the acc or u refering to a automatic calibration, did you know how in the sp menu can i control the measure of intensity for each color by separated

              sorry if i cant understand u, i check the magenta developer integrity and dont had yellow toner over it, i mean orange to tell a reference color but is if the toner dont drop in the right proportion over the paper

                It's in user tools under the maintenance tab. If you clean the ID sensors before you perform the adjustment, the machine will AUTOMATICALLY adjust colors to specs. I have taken care of many color issues by simply performing this easy task.

                  are you running genuine oem ricoh toner?

                    ACC, Automatic Color Calibration, is in User Tools - Maintenance. Before running it, the ID sensor assembly and all optics must be clean.

                        That does not answer the actually question. To make it a little more understandable, do the toner cartridges have the Genuine Ricoh label.

                          Stop swapping parts from other machines if not set up the copy quality will go bad just like the 1st time

                              +2 Parts are calibrated for one unit and swapping them around screws all that up. Sounds like the machine needs a full vacuum and PM, developer change, the whole nine yards.
