5-803 is it as far as current state - not sure what more you want, but if the machine (Katanas) reports a jam it will report a jam number that corresponds to the 7-504 codes. For example Jam code 20 tells you the paper was late arriving at the registration sensor. It's helpful to print the logging report (SP5990-004) this gives you total jam counts for each sensor and a history of the last 10 jams and SC codes with the copy counts they occured at. -
I know Input checks. I just thought there may be a diagnostic you can use to check all the sensors. To check which is on or off.Leave a comment:

The Ricoh boxes have had the 5-803 input checks for years. This service mode will take 8 bits and, with a row of 0's and 1's, change state as the sensor is specifically activated, such as putting a piece of paper on the sensor, etc.
I'm not sure if this is what you are asking because I am not aware, unless it's on the brand new boxes, of any other diagnostics other than this input check.Leave a comment:

KATANA MP9000, MP1100, MP1350 sensor diagnostics?
Hi Guys
Is there a way to do a sensor diagnostic where your can run the diagnostics and the result can tell you why sensor is faulty? Especially on the katanas.
If on any other machine the info will also be more than welcome.
Thanks
