MP C3003 sc 480-0

My customer is getting an SC 480-0 on their MP C3003. I am not seeing this in the service manual. I see on previous models it is an EEPROM error. Any insights into this?

i googled the error code and it says its the drum cleaning motor for the black.

You might want to read the entire thread before wasting time using Google to search for an error code. That way in the future you might avoid making yourself look like a fool. In addition if you were a quality Ricoh or even independent tech you would know that SC480-0 applies to 65, 75 and 80 ppm high speed and production models. C3003 is only 30 ppm and does not have separate drum cleaning motors. Waste toner auger in each PCU drives from the drum itself.
