Ricoh mp 4055 asking for toner

we have a mp 4055 that is asking for toner when the toner is installed. the history of this machine is as follows. original call for stated issue was late oct 2020. The tech at that time determined the toner motor was not running so he ordered one. A diffrent tech returned with the part and installed it. in the process the tech broke some connectors on a pwb which cause issued he couldnt figure out. A more senior tech then went out and found the broken pwb connector. The senior tech replaced the following items. DEVELOPER BLACK, CABLE:USB3.0:AWG22:1600:ASS'Y, PCB:IMAGE PROCESSING UNIT:C, HARNESS:SCR:COMMON, and HARNESS:SCR_R which got the machine back running. the call was closed in early november. a little over a month later issue has returned. Any thoughts on whats causing this issue?

What's the PM count for developer and dev. unit?
Are they using genuine Ricoh toner?
Is the toner bottle missing any teeth that mesh with the motor?
have heard of instances where developer gears are not turning causing an add toner condition.
Have also heard of the toner supply unit (D2023051) failing and causing toner add issues (usually due to backed up dev. unit).
    ID sensor clean?
Any error state for Process control?

Check the Toner Hopper. The transport auger could be broke and the tube is clogged with toner. I have that happen to two machines of that model.

I know this thing! .... You have to remove the toner cap if it is not too full and mount it with the lever, then insert the toner without cap making it adhere to the cap. Then wait for the compression to disappear from the display.
