Re: Ricoh MP C6003 Factory Reset
Since it is asking for a Password on the Copy Function it sounds like a user login. Open User Tools. If there is a LOGIN button at the top right of the touch screen try logging in as as admin with no password. If you can login go to System Settings, Administrator Tools, User Authentication and turn it off. -

Not passwords you will have to log in as slimslob but if passwords be changed you have to reset in factory service mode.Regards Mark

Re: Ricoh MP C6003 Factory Reset
Another thing that I just thought of, if it is a user name that it is asking for then go into SP mode System SP 5846-051 and backup the address book to an SD card. You should then be able to read the resulting file. You can also backup the address book in WIM but may need the admin password to do so.Comment

You can also try to log-in as "supervisor" no password. This will allow you to clear out or change the the admin password. 9 times out of 10 when the log-in password is changed they don't change the supervisors password.Comment

Re: Ricoh MP C6003 Factory Reset
Just remember, the supervisor can only change the admin credentials. Once you have changed or deleted the admin password, you have to login as admin to make any other changes.Comment
