use an SD card, and load the firmware in the following way:
create a folder and name it romdata, then make sub directories for each firmware file. It might look like this.
romdata
b079
b079xxxxxxx
b079xxxxxxx
b548
b548xxxx
b548xxxx
b548xxxx
Ricoh sells a 64M card that works fine but you can use any SD card with the following caveat: a larger card has to be faster, check out this link. http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ri...re-update.html
there should be indents in there to represent sub-directories but it doesnt showup

I thought there was a mid-model 2035 change over from the PCMCIA cards to the SD cards? I very well may be wrong, but I thought early-model 2035's still needed the old cards.

Why 1.67? The latest version is 1.69 and is available on Tessa.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
As Tonermunkeh says just join Tessa then you can get all the firmware and all the notes on which firmwares need to be at what levels to ensure no issues.
Simply loading on one firmware on a device like the MPC 2500 can cause problems.
A2035 = update via 4MB PCMCIA card + you will need a ricoh tool called "memory card explorer" + compatible hardware/os
A3035 = update via SD card
Every *.bin file is for PCMCIA cards and the *.fwu stuff is made for SD card update so depending on the file ending you will know wich type of update you have to do. It's also possible to update some machines via FTP or Web Interface.
If you need to re-load the firmware because a previous update failed and the machine is not working you probably have to follow some additional steps (should be mention in the SM). Sometimes it's not possible to restore/reload a "broken" firmware - it depends on wich firmware module is corrupted.
