    MPC4503 image repeating

    Hi,

    light image repeating occurs on some prints, not often . . .
    I know this is an issue with the temp adjustment of the heater.
    Increased the press temperature in every mode to 122. (default 118)

    Mostley the offset and image repeating is gone doing the adjustment and increasing the temp.
    On this MPC4503 however the symptom returns, not often but stil . . .

    remarkable fact, only in color mode, and only the color toners are from Katun, coincidence?
    thinking of replacing the sleeve unit.

    anyone?

      [I used KATUN PRE 2000 when getting OEM parts were not easy.
      And on some machines but Katun is mostly cheap chinese crap and they dont test their stuff..
      Katun,LD all are crap toners and will gives issues..
      I would make them eat the dime and pay up for OEM.....

          KayTon is crap. Buy genuine OEM toners. Ricoh doesn't like crap toner, neither do I.

              make sure you use OEM Parts and toner. I had this problem on a Ricoh once. Used NON -OEM rollers/belt. Reinstalled and then started double imaging. Had to order OEM roller/belt and the problem went away. Hard lesson to learn

                  Yeah I think you found the issue by yourself

                  It might work if you set the fuser temp even higher (+10 above default) but it's likely that you're still going to face issues.

                              Perhaps the problen is the blade . Also perhaps need to replace hot roller. After you use qenuin toner.
