    MPC2500 Duplex Gear

    Hi there!

I need some help finding the PN for this Black gear. On the Parts Catalog I can only find the PN for the small black gear and the white one.

Can anyone help me with the PN or if it's common to another model?

    Thanks

I would say it is the gear from the bypass diagram. They both are 30 tooth gears, but the bypass diagram gear has a what looks like a resin clip holding it on instead of an metal e-clip.

LOL. After looking at his pics, I thought the gear was being replaced because part of it was broken.

I also thought the gear was broken!

We will have to go there and take a better look.

            Thanks for your replies.

              Re: MPC2500 Duplex Gear

              So here is an update.

The problem is solved! The first time I went there I was in a hurry and didn't give a proper look. Yesterday I tested all the trays and found a paper clip inside the bypass paper path.
The positive I get from this is that I learned a new thing about an old machine. I had never noticed that oddly shaped gear.

              Thanks for your replies!
