Ricoh MP C4503 black drum vs color drum?

Hey Folks, aside from the price, whats the difference between the black drum units, vs the color drums..?
I'm guessing it's the same drum, blade, charge roller, ect., is it a different chip, physically different, that wouldnt allow you to fit the drum into the black slot?...very curious..Thanks..

They all interchange. I use the black in the color slot all the time, the black just has a larger lube bar.. The 04 unit is indeed cheaper. The dev units are naturally unique

I do it all the time. I usually carry the black one as it has the larger lube bar. D1862218 vs D1862219
